Okay, we know it's already ridiculous how many sites and pictures we have and this page goes to show how crazy we've
gotten with this... BUT we are still putting it up, because it gives a little idea what we see every day. So many of
our pics show an old fashioned looking Korea, but really we live in a place that is very modern as well. We do the same
basic things for fun that we do at home - hang out at the bookstore, go to LOTS of movies and find good restaurants.

Many weekends are spent at the mall at the bookstore, theater, and eating - just like home! |

Girls too hip to hang at the mall - they're out in trendier Kangnam close by Seoul Nat'l University. |

There's no room above, so the mall is underground. Here's looking down before going down and in. |

We are movie freaks here just like home - we spend a lot of time and money at this place. |

Example of an interesting skyscraper -there aren't many - most buildings are utilitarian and plain. |

Hyundai - biggest Korean company. They deal in cars, ships, dep't stores, pay offs to the North... |

Example of some outdoor art that line some busy streets. |

Dried squid is everywhere from every other street corner to the movie theater food stand. |

Our apartment...we're in the garden level...but there's no garden :) Just cement and car exhaust... |

But it feels like Christmas shopping at the Mall of America - crowds EVERY weekend. |

Kangnam - the place to be seen chatting on your cellphone while chewing on a little squid jerky! |

Teenage mentality is universal - making sure they wear the same "uniform." |

You see A LOT of people making sure clothes match with umbrellas, handbags, golf bags, etc. |

Not the best picture, but another example of more modern architechture. |

Someone made this debris into a sculpture - it's a piece of a Korean war plane that crashed here. |

And another... |

Many own cars here, but don't use them for short errands. We have a little cart like this too. |

Street corner close to our place. We see families tend to garden plots here and behind on the hill. |
