We spend a good amount of time on the subway every couple weekends - sometimes every weekend.  Thank God we don't have to take it during the week!  It takes 30 seconds for us to walk to school.   We both would lose it if we had to deal with driving here in the traffic or having to deal with "rush hour" below the ground every day.  The subway is convenient and cheap (about a dollar roundtrip to almost anywhere in and around Seoul), and another side benefit is all the exercise walking to and from the stations and up and down the endless stair levels to get in and out.  The downside?  Look below...

You think you're done, but there are 2 more levels to go to see the sun!

Well, as the cars get more crowded, the seated people are still there, you just can't see them.

We are lucky to find a half empty subway once in awhile. Notice all the people sitting?

It just gets more and more dense. Any trouble breathing yet?
