Since the 15th and 16th centuries, Perfume Pagoda has been a famous, holy spot in Vietnam.  Tens of thousands Buddhist pilgrims come here during a 3 month festival between the lunar new year and spring.  They come to pray for good fortune and for having children.

We spent the day with a great couple - Yannick & Virginie from France. Yannick tried rowing back...

We hit it off - very personable and likeminded. We had dinner with them back in Hanoi that night.
